Actualmente la plantilla de la Orquesta está formada por 75 personas con edades comprendidas de los 9 años hasta los 50, alumnos que estudian en la propia escuela municipal y alumnos que han proseguido sus estudios musicales en el Conservatorio Profesional de Almería; dirigidos por Ginés Martínez, profesor de esta escuela,
The orchestra currently has 75 members aged from 9 to 50, including pupils of the municipal school and others who have gone on to study music at Almeria Conservatory. The conductor is Ginés Martínez, a teacher at the school.
